چکیده
The local-regional oncological hyperthermia has various electromagnetic methods for energy-transfer. differences involve conceptual considerations and technical solutions. most frequently applied energy transfer is capacitive coupling, concentrating the electric field to be active heating component. realization of coupling set-up divided into two different categories based on their goals heating: 1) homogeneous (conventional) heating, using isothermal conditions dosing, 2) selective heterogeneous cellularly absorbed dosing. utilizes plane-wave matching, absorbing wave transfer. heterogenic uses impedance selecting malignant cells by specialties, like impedance, higher membrane-raft density, spatio-temporal (pathologic pattern) arrangements. This article’s objective compare discuss details kinds techniques.

متن کاملModeling Capacitive Coupling Effects via the Substrate
For modern integrated circuits, capacitive coupling effects between interconnects can play an important role. Also resistive coupling effects via the substrate may have a significant influence on circuit behavior. This has already been recognized some time ago [1], and several methods to model these effects have been developed [2]. In this paper we will show how we can model coupling effects th...
متن کاملTime-multiplexed two-channel capacitive radiofrequency hyperthermia with nanoparticle mediation.
BACKGROUND Capacitive radiofrequency (RF) hyperthermia suffers from excessive temperature rise near the electrodes and poorly localized heat transfer to the deep-seated tumor region even though it is known to have potential to cure ill-conditioned tumors. To better localize heat transfer to the deep-seated target region in which electrical conductivity is elevated by nanoparticle mediation, two...
متن کاملMicrocantilever Q control via capacitive coupling
We introduce a versatile method to control the quality factor Q of a conducting cantilever in an atomic force microscope (AFM) via capacitive coupling to the local environment. Using this method, Q may be reversibly tuned to within 10% of any desired value over several orders of magnitude. A point-mass oscillator model describes the measured effect. Our simple Q control module increases the AFM...
متن کاملCapacitive Hyperthermia as an Alternative to Brachytherapy in Treatment of Human Prostate Cancer Cell
Introduction: The aim of this study was the evaluation of induced DNA damages of human prostate cancer cells, DU-145, treated with a combination of radiofrequency capacitive hyperthermia (HT) and teletherapy (EBRT) compared to a combination of teletherapy with high dose rate brachytherapy (BR). Materials and Methods: DU-145 cells were cultured as spheroids ...
